A new game is finally out of the Vitarsi stable. It is called SkyGuardian, a side-scrolling 2D dog fighter game.
You play as a lone-fighter trying to defend against hoards of enemy fighters and battleships. How far can you go?
The game also incorporates an online highscore system. It is therefore able to give you a world rank after every game.

The game is also featured on the GamesKeys website in their list of Hand-picked Mobile Addictive Games. You can find the listing here.
The last Android game that I had made was way back in 2012 and it was called JuMp. That was a game that I had built using the Android SDK and coded entirely in Java. It’s still available on Google Play if you would like to try it.
However, I never really got the time to do any app development afterwards. Years later, coming to present day, that is early 2021, I happened to come across a game engine called Godot. It was a freely available game engine and I thought of giving it a try.
I have to say, Godot really shines. The Android Studio in comparison is a beefy install that hogs a lot of system resources and is a pain to use as a result. There’s no looking back, trust me.
